Buenos Aires, March 17 (NA) -- Florencia Rastelli Mella, the influencer who was involved in an accident on a UTV in the dunes of Villa Gesell in mid-February, spoke for the first time from the clinic where she thanked for the support. Immediately, she was transferred unconscious to the Pueyrredón clinic in Mar del Plata due to polytrauma and a skull-brain injury with loss of consciousness. The patient presented 'fractures of the spinous processes in C4, C6 and C7, as well as injuries to the lamina and articular facet of C5,' while she also suffered 'a pulmonary contusion and left-sided pneumothorax, along with a spinal injury in D12 due to compression and narrowing of the spinal canal,' sources told the Argentine News Agency. More than a month after the accident, the influencer used her social networks to post a video in which she shared her recovery process, the support she received, and anticipated that she could return home in the coming days. In a humorous tone, she stated: 'The envious ones will say that I made up this story... and it's true, but here we are, more alive than ever.' Rastelli Mella mentioned that during her hospitalization she had to undergo a tracheotomy, so her voice 'is a bit messed up': 'Without any jokes, I wanted to thank all the prayer chains and the number of candles that were lit. We will have a 'minitas and vinitos' no, because I cannot drink wine, so we will have a 'minitas and water', telling you absolutely everything.' Regarding the accident, without giving further details, she explained: 'I know that they posted stories asking them to pray for me and they didn't explain it very well, the situation was handled as best as it could, but basically I was riding a quad, there was a lot of wind, I got stuck in a dune and I fell. I started to have some serious complications, but I am alive, I am perfect and in Buenos Aires'.
